MANHEIM, PA – (August 9, 2024) – ClassONE Property Restoration, Inc. is pleased to announce our inaugural ClassONE ‘Save Our Pets Project’ Pet Walk and Fundraiser Event, which will take place on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Lancaster Junction Recreational Trail in Manheim, PA. The goal of this event is to raise funds to provide essential pet oxygen mask kits to local fire departments, ensuring that they have the necessary equipment to quickly assist pets suffering from smoke inhalation after being rescued from burning homes.
According to American Humane, approximately 40,000 pets die in house fires each year, and ClassONE is committed to tackling this issue. All proceeds from the event will go towards the purchase of Wag'N O2 Fur Life Pet Oxygen Mask Kits, as well as other pet emergency services such as covering the cost of boarding for pets displaced by fire and covering adoption fees for families looking to adopt a pet after losing their own in a fire.
People of all ages are invited to join the pet walk with their pets or to attend the event even without a pet to show their support for the cause. The event will feature a range of activities including different vendors, various gift baskets and prizes donated by local businesses that will be raffled off, food trucks, a pet photoshoot and caricature drawings, and fire trucks for guests and participants to enjoy.
Although entry to the event is free, those participating in the pet walk must register their pet online HERE. The cost to register is $25 per pet. Participating registrants will also receive a t-shirt and bandanna for their pet on the day of the event as a thank you for their support.
ClassONE’s Co-Founder, Jessica Rosito, stated that, “Far too often we see families who have suffered the loss of a pet in a housefire. Our pets are family, and no effort should be spared to save their life should they fall victim to a house fire. Our goal is to ensure all area fire departments are trained and equipped to provide life-saving oxygen to all kinds and sizes of pets.”
